Privacy Policy

We collect the information needed to run your store and the service.

• Account information: your name, email, and phone number when you register.
• Store content: the products, prices, descriptions, images, and orders you create.
• Usage data: pages you view, features you use, and device and browser information.
• Security data: Cloudflare Turnstile challenge data used to protect forms from abuse.

We use your data to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the service — for example to run your store, process your orders, send you account and billing notices, and detect abuse.

When you use the AI theme tool, the prompt you enter may be sent to our AI provider (Groq) to generate theme suggestions. We do not use your store content to train models, and we minimize the data we send.

Customer payments are processed by our payment provider, Paymob. Matgar does not receive or store full card numbers. We may store transaction references and status needed to show orders in your dashboard.

We rely on trusted service providers to operate Matgar:

• Cloudflare — security, performance, and bot protection.
• Groq — AI theme generation when you use that tool.
• Paymob — processing customer payments for your store.

We keep your data for as long as your account is active and for a limited period after closure to allow recovery and meet legal obligations, then delete it in the ordinary course.

You can access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us and we will respond within a reasonable time.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted transmission and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep yours safe.

Matgar is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe we have, please contact us and we will delete it.

Some of our service providers process data outside your country. Where this happens, we rely on them to protect your data under appropriate safeguards.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes, and your continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.
